If there is a group called pillow hoarder anonymous, please let me know.  I need to join.  I love pillows.  I love my bed to be covered in pillows and my seating areas.  However, I do know when to scale back and when to create a space that makes you feel like you are floating in air.  Ivy House has been busy with the great pillow search for various clients.  There are so many options out there, but the thing about pillows is they can be pricey, so choosing the right pillow for your home can be an investment.

My favorite place to buy pillows and to shop small is Etsy.  I don't think you can find a better place to find a specific pillow.   There is vast selection of Etsy stores that make affordable pillows in addition to the high end ones. The best part about Etsy, is if you don't find exactly what you are looking for, there is someone out there that can provide custom pillows.

The most important part about a pillow, is the insert.  Choose one that is lush and down fill, and wont flatten over time.  I have had my Pottery Barn pillow inserts for three years now and they continue to hold their shape.  Amazon has also a great selection of pillow inserts as well as, Ikea.

Pillows can take a vanilla space and make it fun, so have fun with it!  This is something that is not permanent and can change as your home changes.  Happy Thursday!

PS:  Sorry if I put the song "Pillow Talk" in your head...it was streaming in my head the entire time I was writing this post.
