Happy late Monday everyone!  I swear I keep thinking, I will make time for posts during the day, but alas I am writing during the last hour of the day.

Today, we are going to reveal our most recent, yet longest project, Lincoln Terrace.  Kellie has an amazing friend that moved into Lincoln Terrace earlier this year.  Lincoln Terrace is a historical neighborhood overlooking the capital.  If you are in the area, this is such a hidden gem of a neighborhood in the city, I love everything about it.  The houses are large in size and each home has a charming characteristic that creates a unique presence in the neighborhood.

We fell in love with the home when they moved in.  The clients wanted our help to put together a fun, eclectic space that reflected their outgoing personality.  Much like most of our clients, these clients love to travel.  Their home is filled with unique finds from all around the world.  My personal favorite, are the gorgeous rugs from Turkey that fill their home.  All of their unique finds are great conversation pieces that make their home so unique.

To start the reveal, I wanted to start with the entry.  When you enter the from the front door, you are greeted with the staircase and the living room.  There is a small area next to the stairs, that we put a gold leaf table with a glass top, to bring a modern touch.  The color palette throughout the home has touches of blue in each room.  Kellie and I decided to bring in an abstract painting with gold and blue to bring the focal point to the entry, and set the tone for the rest of the house.  For the finishing touches, we found a floral vintage bowl to place on top of some great Oklahoma books.  We added the cream color West Elm vases, that remind me of vintage milk glass.  I love how the colors pop against each other to bring a modern twist to a historical home.
